Carter Blunt capped a breakout junior year by winning the New Balance Nationals Outdoor Two Mile in 8:58.03. He also placed runner-up in the Mile in Greensboro, N.C. Blunt, a rising senior at Frisco Independence High School in Texas, is one of the top returning cross country runners in the nation. He earned All-American honors at both Foot Locker Nationals (12th) and Nike Cross Nationals (20th).
