It's been a wild ride through the 2020 indoor season.
It marked the end of legendary (indoor) careers from athletes such as Katelyn Tuohy, Athing Mu, Katelynne Hart, Marlee Starliper, Monique Hardy, Laila Owens and more, and it saw the rise of historic seasons from others, all together culminating in one final meet in New York ... well, not exactly.
New Balance Nationals Indoor was canceled in March following the spread of coronavirus across the globe and within in the United States, and it was move that was correctly made for public health reasons.
But while COVID-19 prevented athletes from claiming their last big moment on an indoor track, there were plenty of reasons to hit the like button on a season that saw state bests, national records and its fair share of crazy moments.
