At Old Settler's Park in Round Rock, Texas, on Tuesday, Denton Guyer senior Brynn Brown ran a new course and state record of 16:25.89 for 5K to win her first UIL Class 6A State Cross Country title. The University of North Carolina recruit reflected on how she felt throughout the race and what it meant for her to win the state title.
