Boys Rankings

The US#1 slot still belongs to Edward Cheserek (St. Benedict's Prep, NJ), who set his 4th course record in as many weeks with a mind-blowing 14:34.6 clocking at the Brown Invitational in RI.  It is difficult to imagine anyone defeating Cheserek for the remainder of the season.  US#2 Futsum Zeinasellassie (IN) won his 3rd straight regional championship with a time of 15:04.6 and is the clear favorite to win the IN state title.  Also, winning streaks continue for US#12 Daniel Moore (FL) and US#15 Josh Brickell (GA).  New to the rankings this week at US#21 is Tim Ball (NJ) who ran 15:31 to win by nearly a minute at the XC Fall Classic.  Also, at US#22 is MacKenzie Morrison (UT) who won the 5A state title with a time of 15:22.4, and Brad Nye (UT) who is at US#23 after his runner-up finish in 5A with a time of 15:23.1.  A lot is going on this weekend with 5 state championships taking place and the big Mt. Sac Invite in CA.  Full updates on each athletes recent accomplishments are below.  Be sure to click on each athletes name to see times, articles, photos and interviews of each athlete if available.
