Hi Everyone, My name is Logan Taylor and I am the new editor for MileSplit Nevada!
I am excited to cover the many things happening in Nevada track and field and cross country. I was a high school athlete running the high hurdles and horizontal jump (long and triple jump) at Word of Life Academy - Hawaii (2004) for high school, and hurdles at University of Southern California (2008). I learned how important exposure is for this sport and its participants. With over 20 years in the sport, I look forward to getting to work and providing the coverage the athletes, coaches and fans of Nevada deserve.
My goal as Nevada State editor is to provide a hub for Cross Country and Track and Field for Nevada. Expanding our on-site coverage is priority one. Creating previews for the weeks events, growing our analysis of the sport, and of course expanded images and video coverage of our events.
Over the next few weeks, I will be reaching out to coaches and timers to get a feel for what is needed to make MileSplit Nevada the hub of coverage we want it to be. If you have suggestions about coverage please reach out to me.
We have a few contributors in Nevada already, we will be expanding that bring you all exciting and informative content this spring. If you are interested in contributing to MileSplit, please reach out as well.
