Boy's Highlights from the FLYRA Middle School State Meet

All of the Results at Elite Timing

In one of the closest races of the day, Tyson Manley running unattached completed his 1500-800 double winning the Boys' 800 over Ruckle Middle School's Josiah Holland.  The two both had times of 2:02.56.

Manley also won the Boy's 1500m in a time of 4:16.70.

Landon Watkins of the Hillsboro Harriers won Friday evenings Boys' 3000m in a time of 9:14.25 besting a very talented boy's 3000m field.

The Boys from Belen Jesuit were the only team under 9:00 minutes as they won the Boys' 4x800m Relay with a time of 8:54.97.  The team was composed of 8th graders Nicholas VelosoJack MichalakGuillermo Ribas, and Sebastian Fernandez.


In the Boys' 100mH Marvens Pierrelus of the VAST Track and Field Club just missed a new meet record.  He ran a 13.89 flirting with the record of 13.69 run by James Mingo of Taylor County Middle School last year.

KJ Lyttle of the Miami Elite Track Club took the Boys' 100m and the 200m.  Lyttle took the 100m in 11.13, just edging out Westminster Christian's Britton Bayag who went 11.18.
