Clark Rolls to 4A Girls Cross Country Title Behind Stana's Breakout Win
Clark High School delivered a dominant wire-to-wire victory in the 4A Girls 5000-meter finals, scoring an astonishing 20 points behind five runners in the top 10. Freshman Michelle Stana led the charge, cruising to the individual championship in 20:43.20, with teammates Caylee Hernandez (4th), Selina Leipard (7th), Nedia Suarez (8th), and Payton Howse (10th) sealing the runaway win.
Silverado's Elizabeth Neumann finished second overall in 20:56.00, while Foothill junior Adalyn Mosley placed third, helping the Falcons earn the team runner-up spot with 88 points. SECTA claimed third with a tight scoring pack, led by Makensie Farthing in 20th place.
Clark's impressive sub 22:00 team average and just over a two-minute 1-5 split highlighted one of the most dominant team performances of the meet.
