This Week's Nominees:
Maxwell Miles, Centennial High (Nevada): Won the long jump at Centennial Weekday with a leap of 23-3.25, a new personal best that ranks #2 in Nevada and makes him the top junior in the state.
Kayden Hulet, Debbie Smith (Nevada): Threw a state-leading 54-5.25 in the shot put to win the 3A Western League #1 meet, breaking his previous PR and claiming the top mark in Nevada this season.
Noah Steenkamp, Coronado High School (Nevada): Posted a pair of personal bests at Silverado Weekday, highlighted by a 45-4.75 triple jump victory that improved from his previous best of 44-6 and ranks #2 in the state. He also jumped 21-9 in the long jump for second place and the #6 state ranking.
Antwan Osborne, Spring Valley High School (Nevada): Turned in a breakthrough double at Boulder City Weekday, clocking 22.34 to win the 200 meters and 11.24 for second in the 100. Both marks were personal bests, with his 100 time improving dramatically from his previous best of 11.88.
Hunter Steele, Galena High School (Nevada): Clocked 50.09 to win the 400 meters at the League Meet, shaving a hundredth off his previous personal best of 50.10 set last April to move to #3 in Nevada.
